Dream Job

I brought the facecloth in today to wash the windows and would you believe it, they were sparkling like diamonds!  I’m almost sure I saw that young wan of the Corbett’s disappearing over the brow of the hill with what looked like a bundle of newspapers and a bottle of Fairy Liquid under her arm.  Strange children, the Corbetts, the lot of them – forever doing things like that.

Dream Job

When the sun shines on these windows you can’t see a feckin thing.  They’re filthy.  I’ll have to bring one of them old facecloths I have under the stairs in with me tomorrow and give them a wipe.  I thought the rain would clean them but sure it only made them worse.
